Music Ensembles

This 50-member, non-auditioned ensemble performs for services twice a month from September through June. The Unity Temple choir sings music in a wide range of musical styles and a variety of languages. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday night from 7 – 9pm in Unity House. Chalice Singers represent the the Unity Temple children’s choir encouraging singers from age 6 – 10 to rehearse and perform for worship twice a year. Singers meet directly after 10am worship on Sundays for six weeks culminating in a presentation that incorporates classical, pop and music theater styles.

Women Inspired by Song Ensemble gathers members and friends of the congregation to perform in worship three times a year. Led by gifted congregation musicians, this group encourages singers who have always wanted to join an ensemble and sing with others but have not had formal training. No music reading skills are required!   

The Unity Temple Players is made up of members and friends of the congregation who have been providing music for our congregation for many years. They perform a variety of popular musical styles but focus mostly on classic Rock & Roll. These musicians also host the annual Spring Music Festival, a significant fundraiser for our community. The ensemble’s current core comprises Doug Cole, Audrey Gullotto, Ray Holdsworth, Jim Parks, Larry Pilon and Dave Reminick.
