The Unity Temple Choir
This 50-member, non-auditioned ensemble performs for services twice a month from September through June. The Unity Temple choir sings music in a wide range of musical styles and a variety of languages. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday night from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in Unity House. The Unity Temple Singers
This auditioned, a cappella ensemble draws its membership from the dedicated members of the Unity Temple Choir. Singing once a month for services, the Unity Temple Singers perform songs ranging from renaissance motets to vocal jazz. Chalice Singers represent the the Unity Temple children’s choir encouraging singers from age 6 – 10 to rehearse and perform for worship twice a year. Singers meet directly after 10am worship on Sundays for six weeks culminating in a presentation that incorporates classical, pop and music theater styles.
The Unity Temple Bells
This ensemble welcomes friends and members of all ages, rehearsing once a week for 6-8 weeks for presentations at three Sunday services a season. The ensemble encourages inter-generational musical collaboration. Performers may or may not read music or have previous musical experience. Unity Temple Players
The UT Players are instrumental and vocal musicians from the congregation who express liturgical themes through popular music for UT worship and other occasions. They began performing together in 1996. The ensemble’s current core comprises Audrey Gullotto, Doug Cole, Ray Holdsworth, Jim Parks and Larry Pilon. Women Inspired by Song Ensemble
Women Inspired by Song Ensemble gathers members and friends of the congregation to perform in worship three times a year. Led by gifted congregation musicians, this group encourages singers who have always wanted to join an ensemble and sing with others but have not had formal training. No music reading skills are required!
