Wider Still

A class with Rev. Roger Bertschausen on May 8 from 7–9pm at the UTUUC Community Center (1019 South Blvd)

Rev. Roger Bertschausen and three colleagues recently co-authored a companion study guide for the UUA’s landmark report from 2020 called Widening the Circle of Concern: Report of the UUA Commission on Institutional Change. The study guide, called “Wider Still,” incorporates a global lens to many of the themes and recommendations in the Widening the Circle report including learning and reflection on theology, leadership, partnership, and reparations among other issues found in our global work. The authors hope that readers will gain insight into how to live more deeply into our UU values of inclusion, equity, antiracism, and anticolonialism within the context of our global faith. “Wider Still” was supported and published by the UU Association.

In this one-time session, Rev. Roger will share selected activities from “Wider Still.” RSVP to rbertschausen@unitytemple.org is encouraged but not required for in-person participants.
