UUs for Social Justice Meeting: The Cost of War

UUs for Social Justice Meeting Will Feature “The Cost of War” Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice will hold its 2011 annual meeting on Sunday, December 4, between 2 and 5 p.m., at the Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 N. Ridge Rd., one block north of Dempster in Evanston.

Between 2 and 3 p.m., Iraq War veteran Vincent Emanuele will speak on behalf of Iraq Veterans Against War in a talk entitled “The Cost of War.” The UUSJ annual business meeting will follow from 3 to 5 p.m. All are welcome to join us, whether just for the program, or for the full meeting. There will be light refreshments.
