MLK Day Assembly

Join us for a joyous morning, as we gather with over 1,000 people of faith in metro Chicago, for music, celebration, and commitments from our elected officials.

We will meet at the 805 South Boulevard offices in Oak Park to travel together to First Baptist Congregational Church, 1613 W. Washington, Chicago, via bus, car and El train. Click here to sign up to join us!

The program will include information about the five projects of Community Renewal Society's transformative Platform for Renewal: The Reclaim Campaign - Reducing violence through Restorative Justice / Peace Hubs Fighting to Overcome Records and Create Equality (FORCE) - Employment for people with records Justice in Education Funding - Adequate and equitable funding for schools West Side Community Benefits Campaign - Good jobs and housing for West Side residents Police Accountability - Ending brutality, sweeps, and criminalization of people of color.
