Long Strange Trip

Long Strange Trip

Admit it: you've been wondering how we came to be who we are today as a religious movement.   Try this fun and easy way of learning about the twists and turns of our history. Long Strange Trip is a six-part video series by Ron Cordes that explores the history of Unitarian and Universalist thought and practice from the early, liberal strands in faith at the beginning of the Christian era to what we know today as Unitarian Universalism. Full of heretics, theological debates, controversial sermons, our one miracle, battles for civil rights, and great scenery, Long Strange Trip does not disappoint.  Each session will include a showing of the DVD (each an hour long) and a subsequent discussion. Six first Thursdays, come to one or some or all. 7-9 p.m. at 1019 South Boulevard
Moderated by Rev. Emily Gage
