Listen to storyteller Jack Zimmerman spin stories of growing up in Chicago at 3rd Saturday Coffeehouse on Saturday, November 19. Zimmerman has worked as a parking-lot attendant, greenhouse laborer, dock hand, trombonist, college instructor, piano tuner, newspaper columnist, magazine editor, and PR man. He's written a couple of novels and has told stories his entire life. He just read a story on Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion in June. He will read excerpts from "The Gift," a CD of six autobiographical stories. In Unity House. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for sign up.
